Our Authors - Penny Biggins

Penny is a writer, musician and performer. She has written articles and columns for the Sydney Morning Herald, The Australian, The Age, Sydney’s Child and is a semi-regular contributor to the Good Weekend magazine. She has also contributed to several anthologies. One of the Play School pianists, she has written many songs for children, for the ABC and for Disney and tours regularly with Play School, playing for the live shows.

Penny has also written and performed extensively for television, radio and theatre. Her most recent show and CD Angela and Penny’s Holiday is designed to introduce kids to an extensive range of musical genres including calypso, go-go, and 60s pop.
